Muthookas started as a tuition centre in Muvattupuzha in 2001. Students from nearby schools were the regulars at the centre. As years passed, the learning system slowly shifted to the idea of Activity Based Learning (ABL). There were visible results as students understood subjects better through this methodology. The E CUBE Learning System was eventually churned out after much trial and error. Now it is the most reliable method to effectively teach Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to 10th standard students. Tuition is available for 11th and 12th standards, but not based on E CUBE Learning System. For these classes, we give more emphasis on teaching equations and problem solving rather than doing activities since they are very important for competitive exams like JEE and NEET. Muthookas has now opened doors to students across Kerala and the GCC countries through online classes.

In general terms, Science can be defined as a systematic, inquisitive and unbiased approach to understand a phenomenon by patiently analyzing it from all possible perspectives. An eagerness to know is the basic quality of a scientific mind. We all have it as an inborn talent, the curiosity that we had to see, hear, touch, taste and experience things around us in childhood being proof of it.
Science subjects and Mathematics that students learn in textbooks are the results of years of constant studies by generations of scientists around the world. The theories and their practical applications are arrived at after countless experiments using different methods. So for students the best way to learn Science is by doing simple experiments and analyzing the results.
Anyone can learn and love Science with a little effort. Trying to put into practice the scientific way of thinking shall help us see life in a new perspective. Children should be encouraged by parents and teachers to think scientifically and do simple experiments. They should also be shown how different scientific principles are applied in everyday life. For adults of any age, developing a scientific curiosity towards the world is the best way to stay young at heart.
