Muthookas E CUBE Learning System is a well-researched methodology that gives emphasis to Activity Based Learning (ABL). The core philosophy of E CUBE Learning System is “Let the Students Think Like Scientists”. The E CUBE based online tuition classes are now available only for 10th standard students following SCERT or CBSE syllabus, either residing in Kerala or the GCC countries. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the subjects covered.
For SCERT and CBSE students, 10th standard is a turning point in their lives. The 10th standard learning experience influences the choice of subjects for higher studies. It is based on the marks scored in 10th standard that they get admission in higher secondary classes. Our focus is to make students do each activity in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics textbooks followed by explaining the theory, thus helping them understand the lessons thoroughly and score good marks.
The E CUBE Learning System is built up on the foundation of Activity Based Learning (ABL) where activity is done first and theory is explained later. It is an undeniable fact that we learn anything easier and better when we actually do it. This is true for every human being irrespective of age and gender. So, the best technique for students to learn Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is to do activities and connect the theories with the real world. Knowledge thus gained shall remain in the memory longer than theories learned by heart.
Another advantage of activity based learning system is that students shall find more than one practical context around them for a given theory, thus proving that Science is essentially an integral part of daily life.
Muthookas Education Centre sends Activity Kit to the students at their home address within Kerala. For students in the GCC countries activities are demonstrated in live classes. For the time being, they are made to do activities using materials available at home.
An Activity Kit consists of materials for all the activities in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Some simple materials can be sourced from home itself.
(Please note: We do not send hazardous chemicals like sodium or encourage any activity using such materials.)
Live classes are conducted via Google Meet and each batch is given a specific time. The classes will be taken with the students’ videos on so that the tutor can watch how they are attending the session. Students can clear their doubts during the class. If a student misses the class a recording of the session is shared to make up for the absence, upon the request of the student’s parent.
Getting good marks in examinations is equally important as inculcating scientific temper in students. So E CUBE Learning System is designed from an exam point of view also. Apart from daily question-answer sessions we conduct Biweekly Exams, which are one hour exams written in the presence of a parent. The image of the answer sheets are uploaded online for evaluation. Feedback is given to both the student and the parent.
Solving questions set by our tutors based on each chapter, answering previous years’ question papers are also done regularly.
Continuous evaluation and strict follow up are integral parts of E CUBE Learning System. There will be daily question-answer sessions and online book checking. Tutors interact with parents regularly and update them about the performance of their son/daughter. Absence in the class is particularly notified to the parents.
